Headquarters of Scott Sports, Givisiez, Switzerland

Scott Sports, known as an innovation leader in the sports industry, has transposed to the new headquarters building located in Givisiez, Switzerland its own mission statement - innovation, technology and design - turning out to be an ultra-modern building working with an innovative system to control heating, ventilation and acoustics, all at the same time.

The exterior walls have winged aluminum elements to align the sunlight, while the interior features a combination of concrete, steel and wooden elements.

Spread over 7 floors, the building boasts 600 working seats, 50 meeting rooms, 4’000 sqm of showroom and fitness rooms accessible for its employees.

The main goal for the architects Itten and Brechbühl was to create a state-of-the-art building in terms of architecture and innovation. They used this approach by planning the entire construction in BIM, for which reason they were awarded the best BIM Project back in 2018.

Given the common brand approach in terms of Swissness and innovation, Laufen was part of this project. The new headquarters has over 44 lavatories, equipped with individually manufactured washbasins made of solid surface material Sentec guided by two basic ideas: functionality and design. In addition to the Bespoke washbasin solutions, infrared-controlled faucets for urinals, washbasins and showers along with ceramic products of the recognized Moderna, Val and Lema series contribute to enrich this thriving architectural scene.
